    A different take on "Lines". :D

    The slight graininess was unintentional --that'll teach me not to check my ISO settings... But I'm getting the hang of manipulating white balance. Hence no post-processing. :)

    Actually, I think the grain adds to the overall feel of the image. At first glance, I thought it was added intentionally. The colors appear muted, yet saturated, and complement each other quite nicely. Finally, the composition works very well, and I definitely get the sense that the telephone lines are meant to be the subject.

    I like the end result.

    Great stuff, i'm just starting to try to work more with the WB setting too.
    I also agree with supermonkey, I like the grain, it works! :)

    What camera etc are you using?

    Nikon D80 with 18-70 mm kit lens and polarising filter, White Balance set to compensate for shade. This boosts the warmth of the light source, in this case the late afternoon sun nicely.
