    Lo,

Just noticed recently that the 2nd PC (Abit KG7, Athlon 1.4) is running a little high on the temps.

Used the hardware monitor and found that the vcore was being reported and 1.8
This seems a little high to me and I took it down to 1.7 and the system is still stable.

Question is.. Anyone know what the recommended vcore setting should be for such a set up?

no, the new .13 chips use 1.5v, old .18 chips use 1.75 default. if its happy at 1.7, use that

I have just ordered a XP2500+ 333FSB Barton for my PC so i assume the vcore for this chip would be 1.5v?

however, "Athlon 1.4" suggest to me that he has a Thunderbird core... and that would be about 1.8, right?
