    hello, Nearly got 'bedroom' pc sorted now, just need an 1155 heatsink for cooling a g850 for now. Later on i will go for a nonK quad.
    Any ideas please nice people!!

    If you're getting a non k ivy there's no point going crazy on your cooler. I have a gelid tranquillo on my 2500k. I've not yet overclocked and it seems nicely quiet and effective to me. Nice and cheap too. You might just be ok with the stock coolers though.

    The 2500K is great for overclocking. I notice a significant speed increase OC'd versus stock, and my NZXT Havik 140 keeps my CPU maxing out at 62C at 4.6GHz, while the stock cooler maxes out at 65C at 3.3GHz.
