This one isn't technically 'red', but I'm just so chuffed that I managed to get the photo that I can't help myself This is 'in the wild', no stages or feeding areas here. Been trying to capture one for weeks, and this is the result. It's not great, but it's my first small-bird capture If anyone has any objections to it not being a vibrant red, please say and I'll happily withdraw the entry. Nikon D80, f/5.6, 1/100, ISO900, 300mm (450mm effective).
