I understand your intent with the selective coloring, but I think this is a little over processed. The red colors inside the ornament are pretty blocky, and the highlight is overblown. I'm not sure the composition really works, either. Normally, placing the subject off-center can be effective, but in this case the placement of the heart is a bit awkward.

If you have time, I would recommend re-shooting this. I would leave the image in full color. The greens will help add contrast to the reds. If done right, selective coloring can work, but it's very difficult to do effectively. There needs to be a real purpose to isolate the subject, and in this image I just can't see it.

    Make image smaller.
Let a bit of the green through of the tree.
The shine is Waay to bright imo.
Make the red a little darker.

    Much better without the desaturation.
Still don't like how burnt out the reflection is though.

Is that a paper xmas tree btw? How come?

ehm, paper tree, not exactly paper... its some kind of plastic.
Yes, we are using plastic tree, its convient to unpack it from box, lights embeded to it, then pack it to a box and hide it somewhoer for the next year...
no fallen needles (are they called needles?) not another dead tree taken from forest just because of xmas...

and about that reflection... the heart itself is really hard to shoot as its reflective, and everytime i try to make red from that purple heart, the reflection end like this. well, my PS skill aint that world owning lol
