I quite liked the demo, although I was annoyed by the controls and the fact that it still had Xbox360 button icons and such, it just seemed unpolished.

 

You have a 19" widescreen? Good show.

I've played the demo and I'm seriously thinking about getting the game. I'm just wondering how big a difference there will be between DX9 and DX10...

The game was sweet to play on Tims massive screen and, as screenshots show, the smoke is beeeeeeeooottttifulll.

Very nice, thanks for the link. I might get this game after my holidays, I'm going away in like a week so I'll just wait, see if I can get a better deal when I'm back.

 

It's infuriating, I have fiddled with the demo of this game for ages but each time I load it i get a black screen with "video mode not supported" and just the sound in the background.

Ah well, i suppose i will just wait until i can force one of my friends into letting me play it on their computer. Those screen shots are immense shamrock!

anybody played online ? when i tried last night could not find any servers

 

Doesnt the 3rd person view get very annoying? I hate shooters with 3rd person views

 

no dont find it annoying just different to a fps, i never played the xbox360 version but its the sort of game thats nice with a keyboard and mouse

Not just full, but playing. Once a multiplayer game has started it can no longer be seen by anyone else.

 

Great game, I have the LE version for 360 and without live its now sat gathering dust. Great thing Pc's no subscription to play online ect the rip off merchants like WOW.

Anyone who has the PC version and played the 360 one, how does it compare??????

 

The PC version is way better, looks better, controls better and of course DX10 is the sex!

 

I can't even start the damn game!! Installs fine, but when I start it my monitor goes into sleep mode and displays "Video Mode not Supported". I've tried editing the config file to only use on resolution but it didn't work, now I can't play the damn thing at all......anyobdy got any ideas, it's possible I'm missing something really obvious, but I can't think what it could be
