    Any decent 140mm kicking around?
CPC's mega labs test a few months ago couldn't recommend any. I don't want one of those 140mm fans with 120mm mountings either:D

And those really cheap Coolermaster ones(which are DEAD quiet but aren't very capable of airflow), oh the Noctua 140mms and Antec has a few.

This is a question that I'm also wondering the answer to that question, because my cm scout came with one moves hardly any air and i want to upgrade it.

Nah, looked at the Noctua's, but they're the 140mm with 120mm mounting, similar to the Scythe Kaze Maru. I need closed corners.
The Antec Tri-cool's are ok, but no RPM tach wire, which I need!

Why is it 140mm fans have never taken off?

Are you after quietness or airflow? I have a couple of these and they're super quiet, although they only shift about as much air as my 120mm fans. If you also have 120mm mounts you might be better off just going with some tried and tested 120mm fans TBH.

    Somewhere in between :)

It's a 140mm mount, and it needs to be closed corners, as opposed to a 140mm with 120mm mounts.

They look ok. When you say they shift as much as your 120's, what are 120's are we talking about?

Sorry, just checked out the specs on scan, if they're quoting 39cfm, i'll half that. Prob a bit weak for my needs, but cheers anyway.

I had to laugh at the description. "3-Pin & Big 4-Pin"
Could be worth a crack at that price.
    Cheers.

The Noctuas have both 120 and 140mm mounts.
