300w Power suply

    How much can one of theese take?

    Im curently running 1x uv cathode, 1x neon 4x case fans,
    then theres my board, my cd rom, burner, gerforce 2, sound card etc,

    Im wanting to run a LCD as well, how much more can it take?

    What CPU/Board is it? You'd probably be getting close..

    Well, I'd say go for it.. :)

    You could possibly lose a case fan or two if you start getting problems. Do you need 4 running for the Duron?

    The fans'll be one of the biggest drains then, I'd sacrifice one of those if you start to get problems. Good luck :)

    We have a system at work with a 185W PSU as follows: -

    PIII 1GHz, 512MB RAM, 40GB IBM Deskstar, CDRW, TNT2, ZIP drive & USB graphics tablet & that's fine!

    Wouldn't like to use it as a home system, it's got a Philips CDRW!

    BTW, a PIII 850, 256MB, crap graphics card, NIC, 40GB HDD, CDROM, floppy runs at around 85W!!!
