    Just about the rest of the English speaking world has called it overlong and boring.

    This is the worst part for me.

    "Black Flag 2: This time it's Vikings" would have been much more appealing.

    A surprisingly long review. You could have just said it was another Ubisoft game. Passable story, nice graphics, and a map full of time wasters. 10/10 (sarcasm) Giving an Ubisoft-box game anything other than.. "it's another one" kinda kills any credibility you have.

    I came across a fascinating blog about this game recently: https://acoup.blog/2020/11/20/miscellanea-my-thoughts-on-assassins-creed-valhalla/

    I do worry a bit about how irresponsible storytelling, when consumed ravenously by children (as many of these games are), will affect their views of the world for the rest of their life. Call of Duty springs to mind...

    I do appreciate that I'm channeling my inner Helen Lovejoy here!
