    Afternoon all.

A while back i built an htpc for my dad. featuring the following.

    GIGABYTE H55M-UD2H, i3 550 3.2G s1156 along with 8 gig of ram.

He wanted a blu-ray player so i got him an LG CH10LS20.AUAR 10X.

He wants to be able to view 3d blu-ray vids now does anyone have any ideas what gpu would be best.

Imust mention aswell that it needs to fit in a silverstone Lascala LC16

I had suggested looking at the 6850 as per the buyers guide.

If anyone has any better suggestions i would love to hear from you.

As always thank you for you time and input.

NVidia had 3D BluRay support from at least the 200 series. Not sure about AMD/ATI as it's not in the spec sheets.

ATI have never been interested in stereoscopic 3d. Even now they say they support it and u click on a link to find where to buy and it's dead. Has to be Nvidia since they have supported it for many years long before it was re-branded "3d vision".
