Graphics 850xt oc

not having any experience in oc'ing and having a
850xt agp is there enough gain to make it worth
while? I'm using atitool and have the understanding
of the process to oc its just a matter of getting it done. also what can I expect to gain from the default
core/memory. thanks

 

Try it and find out? Every card is different, but you should get a performance increase, however small.

i am no expert on that card but when i had the x800xt i managed to get around 800 more points in 3dmark03 etc, i dont think your see any real world performance increase though. does that card have sm3 support?

 

sm3 did't come in till x1xxx

you should be able to get it to the Platinum Edition speeds. but i dont know them of the top of my head

 

yea thats the only thing I don't like about this card no sm3 but it does a kick **s job in
games
