So, i've been itching for one of these. Went and got myself a BenQ FP222W this morning: However, what makes me overly excited is that this one is now paired with my OTHER one Sheesh, my desk looks disgusting in these pics :| It doesn't look like that in RL My only bummer is that the new one is a silver one and my old on is a black one. No matter, in a little while they're both getting modded and the frames will come off After i got my first 22", solo once said "Once you have one, you'll want another one" and i was thinking to myself "Hell no, this 22" is MASSIVE already, how could i EVER want another?" and look at me now I'll be sure to sketchup some designs of the mod i'm planning for these two beasts.
Only problem being the sloppy TN-panels in 22-inchers But the space, THE SPACE. Oh gosh, I want a second 20" as well! Can I have one? can I can I can I can I?
I've got a similar set-up to you Dae-ja-voo... 2x22" Samsung Syncmaster 225bw's. I got them from my Dad for my 21st a few weeks ago Also running off 2x 7800gt's.. But I've kept my old 19" matching Samsung Syncmaster 940bf, and slapped it in the middle.. Although, there is a slight colour difference, very slight. the 22's are brighter, and clearer, so I think I'm going to get rid of the 19... 3360x1050's big enough. Besides, wallpapers have to be custom made Larger Pic Also, please excuse the mobile phone camera and the messy shelves.. Uni's just finished, and getting ready to move back down south... Will set up, get modding, and post too...
You can adjust the colour values for each monitor individually. See if your 19" has an adjustment for colour warmth or whiteness, and whether you have its correct colour profile loaded.
Niiice! 30"? Do you find 30" too big for fragg gaming? Only , I always thought I'd never be able to keep my eye on the whole screen And speaking of gaming, are there any games apart from supreme commander that have multiscreen capability?
It's a 30" (and no, I'm not getting another one. ). I've not tried much gaming yet, but playing Quake on this size display actually makes me feel slightly dizzy. Far Cry supports 2560x1600 and is supposed to look really cool... Some other games do too. But I suspect my Radeon X1650Pro is not up to that. Still, even 1280x800 looks pretty good.
Cool.. I love those Dell displays, they really are one of the best looking monitors.. BTW, Dae-Ja-vu, I was born in Joberg, and lived in pretoria when I was very young...
