Modding A different sleeving idea?!

    So a friend of mine is building a custom case, Think small mobo, custom alu housing, perspex tube etc.
    Problem is that the PSU wires are massively too long for such a small case and he wants them shortened.

    So I offer to do this for him, having done my own PSU and suggest he sleeve the wires at the same time.
    Thinking paracord would be good and tie in the colour scheme of the custom case, I suggest black, or camo in the colours he is using. Nope he decides he wants the actual wire colours, just in Paracord.... even the 24 ATX connector.

    I don't think I have seen it done before, and I think it looks quite cool!

    Personally I hate it, I think it looks interesting but it defeats part of the point for me.
    Always nice to see something different though!

    Cable sleeve just went full circle: Sleeving to make many cables one cord-->individual sleeving to hide ugly colors-->this, which makes the original wires even more obnoxious.

    That man may be the biggest smart-ass that ever lived, and I salute him.
