PSU A good psu

Hi just wondering if the 850w Silverpower SP850 - A2D is a good power supply, have looked on the internet but can't find any reviews.

It is currently available on scan for £93.14 inc vat.

Any particular reason why you need a 850w psu? are you using more than 2 gpus? in terms of power hungry gpus

 

Well I suppose I want to be running an sli setup in the near future. At the moment I wouldn't require 850w but it would save me an upgrade in the future. I have also considered the corsair 750w non modular psu, i would be ideally looking for a 700w plus one. Doesn't have to be modular as I will be buying a full tower case.

be quiet! Dark Power Pro 750W. It cost me a little over £100 and it's modular, with the biggest selection of cables I've ever seen in a PSU bundle.

Bit-Tech review for you. It's the 650W model here, but it's about the same. A very good unit.

shame really they used to cost £105

well one retailer did a crazy deal on the 750w version for a long time but that has finished now
