    exactly the same thing happened to my dads pc with a corsair psu. Scan sent a new one out with 4 days and it turned out the mobo had gone too. Hope your more lucky.:wallbash:

    Ah, that makes sense. No fuses went. But I did have a surge protector, so maybe that helped. And it also wasn't too loud, probably just a minor component in the PSU, but yes. I'll not be using it again, and try and get it replaced.
