8/10 from general knowledge, though I think we have an unfair advantage because of the amount of related media that comes our way.

    ...like a decent news system (j/k j/k :p)

KMQ, is our fuel really cheaper than over in the UK? Over here, the cheapest stuff you can get is almost $2/gallon (£.56/L). They hit about $2.30/G a few week back and people thought it was a sign of the apocolypse.

Back on subject, I'm kind of surprised at how many people passed. I imagined some of the Brits would simply because of how much of our culture gets crammed down their throats, but somehow all of the American posters passed. Shocking I tell you, shocking.

    It's about 80p a litre, If I remember correctly there are 4.54 litres in a gallon = 80p x 4.54 = £3.60 a gallon. I think it's about £1 to $1.80. So £3.60x1.8 = $6.48 unless my maths is wrong.

The math seems sound. It's the conversion you've got wrong though I'm afraid. There are 3.785 litres to the US gallon, and 4.54 to a UK gallon.

    With that in mind...

    80p x 3.785 = £3.03

£3.03 = $5.66 per gallon at a current (frankly, laughable) exchange rate of 1 GBP to 1.86824 USD

So, at the end of the day, it's still atrocious.

10/10, but I got to admit the original 13states and our allies (I didn't think China was an allie...) were kinda challenging Q's.

At the moment in my North Brunswick, New Jersey. I just moved out here last week to start colage at Devry University. In NY i live in Mahopac. Its in Putnam County. Its right next to Connedicut (Sp?). I (was) only a 30 minute drive to Danbury. I will get a map.

Edit: Mapquest is acting wierd or somthing. i will have to put up maps later.

I know exactly where Mahopac is.. My parents used to live near Catskill / Coxsakie back in the early to mid-90's and when I went out to visit, we would often drive down to the Kingston / Poughkeepsie area.
