Ok I have asked this one so many times and never got an answer I figure some in here might know. I cant get above 190 fsb on this board, my RAM is OCZ 3500 so that isn't the problem. I have given it plenty of voltage. I figure cause the board has only a 5 divider the problem is the pci bus. I gave up and settled for 190, however I recently spotted an article stating that Corsair used the board to test its 3500 memory, surely if they have done that, they wont have just set it to PC3500 and stopped at bios screen? Anyone any ideas?
The KD7's don't clock too well due to their pci/agp busses not being locked. A mate of mine has one, and he can't even get past 180fsb, so you're not alone here. Can you change your RAM divider, so it's not running in sync with the proc bus? although, that will not give you any performance increase
Nah m8 cant run out sync either, grr I would buy a new mobo but I am currently spending too much on pc (need water cooling and a nice tft).
