Hi my daughter has just finished building this and wants to place it in a nice case, has anyone got a recommendation for this, the ones she's seen are very expensive.
Fancy making your own? Ge the acrylic cut to size from somewhere like: https://www.theplasticpeople.co.uk/clear-as-glass-acrylic-perspex/ (or various cheaper sellers on ebay) order some 12mm threaded cubes and some nice M4 anodized screws and get drilling....
In theory I should know more about this, but I'm fortunate enough to live in a house that has low dust levels! Other than searching on Amazon, I don't have any other ideas unfortunately.
I got some of the ~£20 ones from ebay a while back for my 1/18 scale models, plastic base acrylic lid, keeps the dust off. One arrived fine, other arrived with a crack in the lid. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/33352324...TOXw85YIPOYbpRHGsExuMjpQ==|tkp:BlBMUPiFvMiaYw
Alternative suggestion for ultimate cheapness. Could you just buy a glass oven dish of the right dimensions and turn it upside down or a cake cover (think posh coffee shop cake "bell jar") ? https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/ikea-3...50xlG-Q0AxcSDwwURvIaAhVpEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
wickedbricks are always recommneded in the lego groups/forums/blogs/etc. i frequent for their display cases, but they arent cheap! I dont have any personal experience, but they look solid/good.
