    As soon as the BBC move to HTML5, for the iPlayer, I will uninstall Flash pronto.

    I thought the Beeb used AIR, the Flash spinoff for iPlayer...

    Either way, I think Flash really needs to be put out of our misery...

    EDIT: nvm, I'm thinking of the iPlayer desktop app...

    Flash and its security is such a joke - that it would probably do well in a US presidential election ;)

    I uninstalled Flash ages ago. Anything that requires it is not a thing I need, no questions asked.

    if you fake your broser agent as ipad you get html5 so not sure what is stopping bbc (any one still using windows 98/xp/vista can just install firefox if they want to watch HTML5 video)
