Don't ever ever go with btopenworld they have crap customer service, the telephone and web status line always says there is nothing wrong. Pings are 150 + to uk game servers between 7 -10 @ night but according to them there is nothing wrong. I'm just glad I have 1 month to run then im off this pos.
PS while Im moaning royal mail special delivery next day my arse 2 1/2 weeks and its still not got 3 miles down the road.

Ex government owned companies have a monopoly and they stuff the normal person.

Yeah... in a CS server you can tell who's on BT and who's on cable.

BT usually like 40-50 ms pings, and cable is between 15 and 25 usually...

All ADSL instalations are handled by BTIgnite, a company formerly part of BT.

Not true if you live in Hull, they dont use btignite lucky buggers.
Cable cant be worse than adsl as anything with BT invloved with it is going to suck.

its the thoery behind it at the end of the day, Cable is raw data sent across optical lines, ADSL is compressed sent across copper wires....

cable is always the better option

No offense to anyone from Hull, but I hated every minute I was there studying at Uni. The only good thing about the city is the fact BT don't have a shoe-in.

Kingston Communications is a good telco, much better than BT.
