    From ADSLGuide:

BT Wholesale is to expand the Long Reach trial for ADSL that started on 1st June in Milton Keynes. The two new areas that will be part of the trial are Fort William (01397 70xxxx, 71xxxx) and Dingwall (01349 86xxxx). Places are to be limited to 100 places for each exchange and activations should start just after 1st July 2004, we would presume the same ISPs will be taking part.

There is also renewed talk of changes to the limits for 1Mbps and 2Mbps services, which may see these services to wider proportion of the population.

That's all there is but here's the obligatory link

I was hoping that the extended reach pilot may change the limits for 1Mb reception - I'm on the very limit for 512K, but if the limit is pushed out for this, then hopefully so will the higher bandwidth limits. Here's hoping! :D
