    Hi everyone,

I have been looking around and think that I have found a good combination of parts for my next build, but am looking for some expert advice.

It will be used for photo/ movie editing, playing games and a bit of everything else.

Below is what I am thinking of buying... (I already have a 2TB and 500GB hard drive that I will be using for all my data)

    Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Motherboard
    Intel Core i5 3570K
    8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Jet Black, PC3-12800 (1600)
120GB OCZ Agility 3 SSD (for OS and Apps)
    600W Corsair Builder Series PSU
    Corsair Carbide Series 400R Case

    A few questions I have.

    1) Will I need a 120GB SSD or should I just get a 60GB (it will be for the OS and Apps) or should I just spend a little extra and keep the 120GB?

    2) As you probably noticed I have yet to chose a graphics card, what would your advice be to complement the above build (max £300)?

    3) I am never sure about buying power supplies. Is the above PSU good enough for what I will be using?

    Thanks for any help.

Your power supply is a bit skimpy. I would go for more like 650w from Corsair or Seasonic. 120GB is the way to go for your SSD. For graphics I would go with a HD7870 unless you want to do some multi monitor gaming.

    Thanks for the replies!

I will definitely stick with the 120GB SSD, I might fill it up one day.

maestro0428, cheers for the advice, I'll have a look at some better power supplys.

I don't think that I will be getting another monitor anytime soon, so I will have a look at the HD7870.

personal choice would be to look at either a crucial m4 128gb or a samsung 830 128gb SSD rather than the agility 3
