I'm after a new laptop to replace my old 17" one. First off, it's got to be small - I've been looking at the Philips X59 (which is 12"), that's the most important factor. I really want something of similar size. I'm really not that bothered about actual specs, I won't be playing games or doing anything particularly demanding on it, just work mostly. A full size keyboard is pretty important too, although not absolutely critical. I'll be running linux on it (Debian or maybe Xubuntu) so hardware support is pretty important. I'm using a Philips X59 to write this and downloading Debian so I can check the support. Budget is about £650 or so, although I'm pretty flexible. Basically, to sum up, I'm really impressed with this Philips X59 (providing it's linux friendly) so I'm really asking if there's anything better/cheaper that would suit my needs. Cheers
