wonderfull result !!!! really first time I see that brushed effect on plastic and it's amazing  the project already caught my attention 'cause I find those AIR240 cases really beautifull and your idea of sticking 2 in 1 was great, now i start to see where it's going...:thumb:

    Hi
    Thank you.
As long as the right primer and activator is used for the plastic your dipping, all will be fine.
The case panels on AIR480 are ABS,so I was lucky the standard abs primer and activator worked first time.
Yes the air240 is a nice case, now you see the route I've gone.it opens up to a lot of possibilities.
The metal is thing on the chassis.so it needed to be beefed up where the 2 chassis join, and I made a new 4 mm thick aluminium floor.so plenty of rigidity now

    Hi all.
Well AIR480 had a great response when it was in the corsair stand at i61.
Lots of people asking great questions on how I designed and built her.

Since the show,AIR480 has had a comp, eye strip, clean, flush through and new fluids in the loops.
I made the clear orange loop a little darker, now I'm happy.....

Hope you enjoy,it's been a fantastic project to work on.

Massive thank you to all of my sponsors,it's been a pleasure and a honour working with you all.
