http://aliceandkev.wordpress.com/ I have never found the Sims remotely funny. This though is hilarious.
your getting upset by imaginary peoples sadness, imaginary sadness i thought it was really good, pretty unproductive morning at work none the less. ive been playing sims3 since the weekend(say what you want i always liked them) but kinda shows me how much i miss by tryin to get to the top of the career chain and making money etc... have to indulge in some sims randomness
and how is that any different from being upset by sadness portrayed in film and books; both fictional pieces of entertainment? art is designed to evoke an emotional response.
i'm relaxed - my comment was not meant to be taken as hostility. oh yeah, it was funny, but not hilarious. i found it most interesting that i was reacting with genuine sadness to these characters, and tbh it makes me really want to play the game now.
one good thing bout the new game is you get promoted based on your preformance at work and you dont have to spend hours increasing your skills and keep a certain number of friends which were both very tedious and you can toggle aging on/off aswell if you want is todays one just after goin up?
I think the humour comes from the guys writing. The situation is pretty sad if you were to look at it as if it was a real situation. But it isn't. I'll pick this up - if only to torture people - but only when it's £5 in a bargin bin... For now I'll just read this blog.
