Hey, I poste a mod a while. It didnt seem to interrest alots of peeps but non the less im still working on it. Ok so for those who wish to see the beginning pics they are still located in my first post which you can find here http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=63759&highlight=retro+style Now for the update here some pic of the my recent update: This will be used to build the frame that will hold my LCD and motherboard Here are the cut et hole drilled parts that I measure and that I will assemble to create the frame Here is the assembled part Finally here is what its going to be used for. It will also serve as a frame to hold the motherboard. Here is a wood template im going to use to trace on a metal sheet. This piece will be used to hold the powersupply from the back This piece will be cut in metal. Will be bolted to the back and the powersupply will be screwed to this piece. It will also give it a nicer finish once painted. Of course for more pics visite my site located in my sig
Will try to make it look stock. At least that was my main goal. But the "fake wood" is striped at a few places so If I want to keep it stock and nice I would have to find some fake wood which I havnt found yet hehe Im still very undecided as to how im going to paint it
mmmmmm looks like this could be ver cool, i was thinking about if you did that but i never got around to doing it
here is an update I did this weekend. Im no profesionnal so sometimes my measurment are a bit off but it will still look sweet when done! Here is the frame which is finished and holding the LCD in place I added a piece of plexy which will be used to hold the motherboard Here is what it looks like when it is inside Here is a sample view with the motherboard(which is not bolted and mostlikly not at the correct place) for more pic check my site in my sig
Looks very cool... I thought about doing something like this a while back, glad someone is doing it at least.
Red x's everywhere. Moved to Modding in accordance with the Rules for Project Logs. Pics are a requirement of PL's. Check out this thread for some possible hosts for your images, or ask about in the forums as there are often members who will offer to host pics or point you to reliable free hosting. Once you sort a reliable host and the pics are working, let an admin or moderator know and we'll move it back to Project Logs. Try and find a host that doesn't limit your bandwidth too heavily either, else the amount of traffic in our forums will mean red 'x' before very long.
grrr Its because of my router it seems that when too much people check the site at the same time it stops reponding The pics are working and im working on trying to fix the problem with my router please move the post back to project logs since I do have working pics (althought it does happen some time that they dont work but i fix them right after)
can my post be brought back to project log My pic problem is caused by faulty router qhich I think i have fix
Still Redex everywhere. Can you host your pics somewhere else please so we can actually see them. Phil
Im also planning on adding 1 5.0" on both sides of the tv with a small cuircuit that will allow me to contol the angle of the screen to give it some type of hightech command center
I don't know if you ever play any racing games, but I play NASCAR Racing 2003 Season quite frequently... and it'd be sweet to fold those side screens out & have left & right window views...
