Saving Africa!....Yeah their timing was almost impeccable.....It would have been more fitting to make a point about certain charities building roads instead of using their donations to pay for hookers and supporting black market economies via their paycheques and then trying to cover it all up. Not to mention to "gropey" attitudes of the self appointed "morally superior" employees. Not the best of the series, but the timing was uncanny.
Isn't there something coming out in December with the regular season to start in January? Or was I drunk when I read that?
I can't remember where, or what, I read, but I thought something along the lines of something being aired (as in, like a special) in December. The days are all kind of blending into one at the moment, though, so it's hardly unlikely that I'm wrong.
A couple of weeks ago, Amazon Prime offered me tickets to stand in the tent for an episode, but I couldn't go
I've been reading that season four will be several specials over a period of years unlike the current format, though.
Changes ahoy: https://www.driving.co.uk/news/clarkson-hammond-may-call-day-studio-car-shows/ Wonder if the BBC will follow suit
thats a shame, i kinda liked the studio banter, but if they're going to focus on specials only then I hope they're longer than 60 mins a special.
Am I on my own in thinking this new series is crap? The special was just rehashing the same old stunts and escapades that have already been done. There was nothing fresh apart from the location. There were the few odd unscripted bits of banter that made me chuckle but I just didn't enjoy it like I used to. It's starting to the point where I watch out of habit rather than because I really want to.
not thier best work so far, but still watchable. just wondering why they havent taken this to another level the amount of money amazon gave them they could have reached a whole new level of awesomeness
I suspect because they're all looking at "retirement age" like it's next week, unlike it being next decade. I imagine there's a good deal of "I physically cannot do that" going on in their discussions. Can you imagine them doing the drive/sled to the north pole at their ages now? Hammond might make it, but Clarkson and May would be dead before they got to that ice boulder field.
not talking about that. but given the money amazon thrown at it could not not just go and have blast on some hyper cars, then do the faffing around on super cars
