News AMD Athlon FX?

    Adrian's Rojak Pot has just posted a info on the new AMD "Athlon FX" processor:

    "Has anyone heard of the new AMD Athlon FX? No? That wouldn't be surprising since I have never heard of it until now! Athlon FX is apparently going to be AMD's official name for the new Athlon XP Thorton core!"

    I know I havent heard of any Athlon FX.... Maybe our AMD mole Zap could shead some light on the naming of the new 'Thorton' cored CPU?

    I still have not heard anything on this processor.

    Then again, my area works on the new stuff.
    I have yet to see a duron anywhere around here :D

    Well FX is a better name than Thorton IMO ;) Associating a CPU with continental chocolates, whatever next...

    Nooo not another "FX" "XP" "X-something" :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    Seems as though if u dont include an X in everything, your product wont be "new age" or "the future" or some marketing crap like that.
