While i agree isn't the damage already done?

Plenty of ODM's have already started re-branding their product lines and i doubt they'll just roll back on those plans after having invested time and money into it, it seems Nvidia are going to gain most of the benefits without, now, bearing the financial burden.

It also seems like Nvidia have failed to grasp why people didn't like what they were doing, i get the impression they're basically saying that we're to stupid to know what's good for us.

How much money did they put into it though?

Printing a couple thousand Arez stickers to cover up the Strix logos can't have been all that expensive.
After all it isn't like the ODMs put any effort into the rebrand like for example designing differently looking coolers.

I'd say the amount is irrelevant as anything more than nothing is still a cost incurred, obviously the exact amount, be it small or large, will be different for each ODM and will only be known to them, however I'd say it involved more than printing a couple of thousand stickers, most likely in man/woman hours.

EDIT: Steve on GamerNexus gave his thoughts.
