    Isn't paying people to use your product standard business practice ?
    At least this scheme is of benefit to us, the end consumer. And not some advertising company.

    I can get `points` to use in Tesco - does that mean Tesco are paying me to buy the products with them?

    This is all good and well, but will the scheme be around long enough for someone to actually have enough to cash in?
    What is stopping them from ending it after a few months, and end up with 1000's of users with a bunch of points just shy of being able to redeem anything.
