    Only running 2666 memory, bodes well.

    I wonder how much of a difference the different mainboards make for power consumption. Look at the graph below and that's the same chipset.

    The ones with lower consumption will be where they have followed intel spec and clocked down the chip to meet offical TDP after a bit of overboost, each mobo manufacturer has a different stance on this, not many follow guideline as they want to get better benchmark scores in reviews.

    Simply put, if its power consumption is lower, the machine is running slower.
