that case does not offer much flexibility in terms of how you do the fans unless you hack it up.

The 2 front 80mm fans are next to useless they made a whole one degree difference on mine and a hell of a lot of noise.

The 1 exhaust by the CPU prolly makes the most difference, like the top fans I can't say what because I haven't tried without.

I can't see the top fans on mine being much use as they are stuffed well away and with only narrow airflow from the bottom.

Personally I am using the 3 rear 80mm fans as they come and a 120mm blowhole on the side that does the most work. I have my front fans disconected at the moment.
I am told though is you remove the massive metal grills that are over most of the fans it makes a lot of difference to their efficency, I have no tools though so I have to wait to the summer to try it.

Well idealy you wanna keep it as cool as possible! The only limitations people come across are money, space and a compramise between loadsa cfm and loadsa noise or quietness with not as much passed thru.

IDEALLY: Youll want an intake at the front, exaust at the back, an exaust in the top and intakes on the bottom side. That way you set up a convection cycle and exaust hot air at the top and take in cool at the bottom. The amount of fans depends on budget and needs.

Ya m8, i have the same case

    I had it with a 1.1ghz TBird, and 5 x Sunon 80mm and a fop 38.

Kept it very cool, idle at 19c

But, I took all the sunons out and replaced them with evercool ones due to noise, got about a 5c temp increase.

There is big metal grill covers, and when i get hold of a dremel, or wrestle it out of Mooses cold hard fingers, i shall remove 'em. I might add a big blowhole too, if i can be arsed cutting another hole, and have room after my window.

    Gluck with ur moddin'

OI YOU LOT listen to the master of the Junos.... :)

    LISTEN UP ALL JUNO OWNERS...

if u wanna get the best out of your juno KOOLING do all this:

    1) on the front two intakes, get a dremel and hack out the metal grills, and take the green/blue/turquoise grills out too, just leaving the green/blue/turquoise surround which holds the fan in. this unrestricts all the air. honestly, without the two grills on each fan, air flow is nearly tripled, and noise halfed.

    2) on the CPU exhaust outlet, get the dremel out and remove the metal grill at the back, and the green plactic grill fitted to the back of the case, obviously leaving the holes for the bolts (dont cut them out whatever you do!). get three 80mm fan grills from http://www.overclockers.co.uk or http://www.theoverclockingstore.co.uk and fit it one on the back of the case so wires, fingers etc..cant get mashed up in the fan.
SET THIS FAN TO BLOW AIR IN NOT OUT

    3) the top two rear outlet fans...
once again remove the metal grill, and the green plastic on the back of the case and fit the two other grills you have bought. set these fans to blow out.

    4) then follow my 80mm fan mod that kools PCI/ISA cards here...

and there you have it....the best juno kooling that can be acheived...without having to hack apart the case to fit blowholes in the sides.

I'm wondering why it seems to be general with the entirety of its history available. I only ever have four pages of Project logs to look through but general goes back to the dawn of time. Whats up with that?

Look at the top of the page and change the filter from 'last month' to 'beginning' and all will be revealed (literally).

Can we start banning people for pointless thread necropsy? I could almost understand if the resurrector had a point but he doesn't!
