It seems that Maxis and EA have released DLC to fix the muchos buggy traffic system in SC by releasing Air ships DLC!!

    NOPE

Anyway this is what I've sent to their customer support, I'm really not impressed:

    Hello,

I think it's pretty well covered on the internet that SimCity is pretty broken, but recently I've stuck with it and tried to play through again. It seems now that the traffic bugs are really only the most annoying thing about the game. It does need addressing in the way that outside my city the highway is backlogged into adjacent cities.

After logging into Origin today I noticed that there is now an 'Airship' pack which can 'solve traffic problems'.

My question is this: Why are you releasing a £5.99 pack to fix a problem that should have been fixed by the developers in a patch?

You have BF4 and C&C coming up for release, both of which look amazing. But after the disasterous launch of SimCity and the inital teething problems I had with Origin and BF3/Battlelog, I'm not sure whether EA is concerned about their customers anymore. Is it any wonder why Steam is such a popular platform for digital purchases and why they have such a strenuous proceedure for hosting sales of games?

I don't mind DLC, as long as the game it's for isn't already completely broken. The prices are reasonable, but the circumstances aren't!

    Thanks,
    benji

Am I the only one annoyed by this?

This gives me an idea for a new cash cow for EA and other publishers... Release broken games then release day 1 patch fixes for a fee.

    £3 per patch.....

Sad thing is that it would probably work. Playing on BF3 last night and there was a mortar glitcher.

Everyone was complaining, so I started a votekick, 3 people voted to kick. On a 64 player server......

For some strange reason, people don't vote to change these things.

Customer support is there to help you fix your account or get your game working, not to chat about your opinions. Please don't send them garbage tickets, you won't get any meaningful response from them anyhow.

The game is broken and isn't working. I could post on the SimCity forums but I don't think that'll get listened to.

Considering they don't have a complaints department where else would you suggest I direct my opinion?

    Apathy.

I also experienced a claymore glitcher ages ago on BF3. He was racking up hundreds of points spawn killing us. A few of us reported him.

Meh, sod EA. Planetary annihilation will probably be better than the new generals anyway. I take the dropping of the sequel numeration as a bad sign!
