hey anyone got a few idea's to safly dye or paint motherboard? my asus board is yellow nad is anoying ide liek to get white silver black.... something hell even black tint works silver im happy with anything but yello.... im not to nervous on dying the capacitors with spray paint.... im doubting thtal have muich of an issue. and vynal dye ONLY works on plastics correct? i need somethign that isnt goin to catch fire if the system is on for 4 weeks or somethign crazy.... and wont conduct. UV would be nice too
instead of painting it why dont you get some hevaly tinted perspec and attach it with some long screws use an old sound board or something spray it then use a heat gun on it if youre just spraying on to plastic use paint that is plastic based be careful by the proseser scoket tho as it could block the conection between the board and the proseser or just tape it up Posting 4 replies in a row like that is a good way to get in the mods' bad books... use the edit button in the future please!! - :: Phat ::

Just mask all the pin headers, cpu socket, card slots etc. so they don't get painted and loose contact with the devices that get connected to them.
