Other Anyone got any tips on how to get cheap flights?

    My girlfriends moved to Ohio in the US and I really want to go see her! I'm just looking at flights on Skyscanner, which seem to ring in at about £400 to fly to Detroit.

    Don't suppose anyone have any tips on how I can find cheap flights there? Offers, signing up for a credit card etc etc, anything at all.

    Best option I think is to book as far in advance as you can.

    Ordering as far in advance as possible, and signing up for their bonuspoint program sometimes gives better deals.

    Check out Kayak, and other comparison websites, sign up to flight companies BA, Virgin, AA, etc for any special offers, also check out this and no, it is not what M7ck posted a minute ago. LOL I saw it too.

    I just got a full on free upgrade economy to business over the atlantic :D Chuffed with that aha. Fly in february...I went LHR - LA once for £250rtn and had the WHOLE row of seats to myself...
