I think im going to do mine once my w/c project starts up and was just looking at some ideas....(No im not buying a new fanless PSU) I basically have it designed just wanting to see some others.
When I read the title of this thread I was expecting a bunch of replies going 'that's an insane idea, don't even think of running water near your PSU' But no, I find that there is people insane enough to do it. Crazy, crazy people. crazy in a good way of course
waiting for school to start back up in a few weeks so that I can take some of my copper stock and my CAD files in and get my cpu, ng, gpu, mobo mosfet, and psu waterblocks cut. for free.
yeah, he bought the psu from aquacomputer. well, actually I believe he got it from Pug over at wizard designs, but hes an aquacomputer reseller.
still not all that big of a deal. watercooling a psu isnt as difficult or all that risky if you really look at what it takes. read through bladerunner's log on his site.
And running it near your mobo's ok? (If you think running it near your PSU is bad.) There's electricity throughout the whole system, running water one place or another doesn't matter. You could always get Silicone paint and paint the essentials, in order to waterproof them.
