    Hi,
Does anyone know of a free application monitor that will restart an application if its not running after a certain amount of time. I have found 3 and none of them work quite how I need it to.
Application monitor (jockersoft) works well but is on the screen all the time, and minimised is not good enough.
Keep running(JP electronic.com) is no good as it blanks out the page.
Autorestart (dont know the supplier) doesnt work at all for my machine.
So any alternatives would be welcomed, I cant use autoit.
    This on windows.

I'm not sure about software, but do you know if the application runs as a service? (I'm doing this under XP fyi.)

If so, go to run > services.msc
Find the process in the list and right click > properties

You have a few options on the Recovery tab. For first, second and subsequent failures you can either restart the service or run a program. Most application restarter software just makes changes here.

Task Scheduler? That has the options to restart the task if it stops, and you can even set a lot more options. Check it out.

Also, knowing exactly what you want to accomplish would help us to help you. :)
