Seems a little overpriced for a Fan/BayBus with and extrenal PSU, but i suppose its good value if you are unable to make one for yourself.

As you said, a lot of R&D seems to have gone into it, and the workmanship looks to be Top notch.

Could do with a few refinements though, like the covering of the joints on the rear of the BayBus. Could use acrylic coating.

    APS 2000 Guru

The APS 2000 has a rollinig developemnt and I hope to have finished some changes for the forth quarter of this year.

These things take time and money to develope along with the day to day stuff.

We can incase the back if required, but it wouldn't look to pretty and you wouldn't get much of an idea of the quality of work you are paying for.

2amps has been mention as a bit on the lean side but to go up to 3.5amps you looking at an even bigger unit and twice the price so there has to be a balance.

Anybody that has tried to build one of these will know its a time consuming process and a difficult one to put a true cost on.

    Thanks for the comments

Yeah, i understand the amount of time it would take to make a single unit, i took bloody ages doin a simple 3 switch (on-off) blue led baybus. and the wiring looks like one of our network cabs at work :), its worth paying for a Pukka bit of kit, and thats what it seems to be :)

I rekon the PSU should be made optional tbh as most PC's PSU can cope it's only for mad nutter freaks like me who want to put vapochills in and need cooling after the machine is off etc etc etc

It looks like the best switchable baybus out there, but still, it's expensive.

I don't tend to look at the back of my rheobus :)

Looking forward to the next revision

    The Local Rag

Anyone living in Guernsey will see a feature of our site and the APS 2000 tomorrow in our local paper.

It will put our site on the map and the BiT-Tech's review will also be mentioned.

Many thanks to you all, sites like this make it all worth the effort.

If any of you are ever over here, look me up, there 's always a can of Randalls (Local Bitter) or a Bud in the fridge.

    Daily Rag

Well what can I say a full page on overclocking with the title by the picture.

    The FAB Four :)

We're not the most photogenic of peeps, but some good shots of the case, if a tad on the small side.

I've sent a paper to Koolvin as this section in the paper is not on the online version. doh.

BiT-Tek gets a mention as promised.

Perhaps koolvins got a scanner in his collection or knows a man that does. For all to see?

I've also ordered some APS 2ooo Case badges so look out for those when we get them.

    Good story?

    Any comments?

Now you know what I look like, not a pretty site. Me that is?

You can stick it in your scrap book, to show your childrens children.

    Bugger?

Still, did you get your badge?

The sites hits have ramped up the last couple of days and enquiries are coming in thick and fast. I must say the a good number are fellow overclocking sites wanting a free lunch, I mean a review set.

Those that go the extra mile will always be a winner in my book.

Still the best site in the UK had it first, ain't that the trooth.

Thats what all these TECH sites are about - they see a review then write off to the company to try their hand at blagging free stuff... What they don't realise is that BiT are prepared to buy hardware solely for review.... another thing that gets on my chest is reviews that dont show packaging and have really dire pic quality.. etc etc /end rant.

o well on with the show.
