well if i went the low flow tubing route do you think that an innovatek dual fan radiator, a passive rad from innovatek, and a wet and chilly chips resevoir/radiator would perform as good or better than 1/2" ID high flow watercooling?

While it looks interesting, I think the cuplex pro is a better performer. I chose the pro over the evo after reading a review. I'll try and dig it up for you. Also, look at the NexXxos line of blocks, they are supposed to be good too. Can't comment on performance vs. 1/2" ID tubing systems because all I have is small bore. There are tradeoffs though. Small bore systems have more tollerance for flow restrictions. For instance, adding more water blocks to a small bore system will have less impact on overall performance than on a large bore system. Large bore systems, on the other hand, are capable of achieving lower temps than small bore systems under the right circumstances and with the right combination of components.

There is a list of the top performing low flow blocks on Watercool.de

The NexXxos XP Pro is the best performer IIRC but the Cuplex Evo does have the advantage of having greater mass. If your pump failed or something then it would probably do a better job of cooling your CPU even without the water flow.
