   I fear you have missed the biggest part of the story with your otherwise concise summation: "they may be giving you a coupon to something anyone can access on just about everything including your toaster if the Atari VCS actually ever launches, given nobody's seen nowt but mocked-up gameplay and solid plastic stand-in prototypes."
