I've been working as an IT tech for quite some time now for a friend, he owns a shop, i do a few hours here and there, cash in hand as a favour to the guy.

I've just been offered a place, same position working 40hour weeks. coming up on three years working IT tech experiance.
What wage should I be expecting?

I dont want to respond by asking too much and being rejected, or too little and being laughed at.

Any help is good help. cheers guys.

How old are you and whats your previous experience (exactly i.e. what do you know? do you specialise in certain areas?) ?

I'd post my cv but that would be going too far.
    24 year old.
worked since i was 18 in different places. Most recent Maplin for a year and a half and this computer shop for almost 2.
Building and maintaining computers, networks, VPNs, some database work, software etc. They're wanting a tech with most of the skills I have listed.
    Sugested is 15-20k?

That seems about right, i would have suggested £14.5k - £16k but it does depend on area aswell
