ok this is the crack: when we updated the forums it took a couple of days to sort the options out so some people set up their own avatars/titles. we've since set the options how we like thembut i've not taken anyone's titles/avatars off them, hell, they showed some initiative... we haven't uploaded any avatars for general use yet, but i'm looking into a collection. anyone can have an avatar once we have them uploaded. you need to have 50 posts before you can specify a custom avatar (50x50 pixels max, 20k max) you also need 50 posts to specify your own title (up to 25 characters) if i see any inappropriate **** i will remove it, and possibly the user too (sorry about that last bit, but it had to be said)
