    ...but what to about them?

    C:\Windows\Installer\b62afe.msi

    and

    C:\Users\Admin\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\jre1.6.0_16.msi

Both are "The file is signed with a broken digital signature, issued by:Sun Microsystems"

    What should I do?

AVG will only allow me to ignore them the next time I run AVG. Should I do this (ie nothing) or

Delete them and hope for the best.

Delete them but hope to find their replacement... my google fu has so far resulted in a big fat zero!

Some other course of action as suggested by you folks:thumb:

The only way I can think that these have affected my system is that I've had a couple of Adobe(Flash?) updates fail on me, but not the last one for Adobe reader. And I can no longer watch Final Score on a Saturday afternoon ...it flashes between the broadcast and a green screen, making it unwatchable but Final Score on a Tuesday night ie with live radio(R5) feed as opposed to live studio feed, Gabby Logan et al, is absolutely fine... v.annoying! Other live feeds like F1 and iPlayer are all fine from the BBC and non of the other usual suspects have any problem. Gaming web browsing... alll fine.

    Help!

They sound harmless, and if I were you I'd have deleted them already, I also did a google search and found nothing on the b62afe.msi and from what I read on google about jre1.6.0_16.msi it will/should be safe to delete without any problems.

They are both java updates from sun microsystems , so should be safe. Normally java updates ping up and ask to be installed, it might be that you've got yours set to auto install, thats why you didn't notice them going on.

Not sure about the first one, but the second one is a Java update - jre is Java Runtime Edition.

So they are safe to delete ...in the knowledge that the next Java up date will/should replace them?
