'Fans. Now in virtually all PC’s now we have to have fans, to cool the hot components down, such as the processor. Fine most people say, and overclockers in particular tend to stick the biggest fan possible on their cpu, grafix card etc. Which is fine, but some people, like me, care about the noise level our computers make. Having a 60mm delta screaming away next to you all day is NOT a nice experience, even if you do get better performance.

So this is where a fan adaptor comes in. By allowing you to use a bigger (in this case 80mm) fan instead of the usual (60mm) fan, you can either slow the fan down, which gives the same airflow as the smaller fan, but with much less noise, or you can stick a big 80mm one on and have even better air cooling.

But this AVGS Icehole is no ordinary fan adaptor – this one has bl00, red and green led’s built in for lighting the fan, and a built in fan speed controller, so you can tailor the cooling and noise levels easily. '
