    I downloaded origin and double checked my mail, but no love from EA


    Whateves, I probably didn't have a good enough GPU to fully enjoy it anyways. I've seen some alpha gameplay videos and it does look pretty cool

    Doesn't this have anything to do with MoH? I remember EA promising that we'd get in the BF3 beta when we pre-ordered MoH.

    My understanding is the Alpha is only available till the 1st of august anyway!

    EDIT:

    I know we are not supposed to be taking any screenshots of the alpha... but this is a photo :p

    I'm surprised no one's asked this. But how well does it run? I'm fully aware this is only Alpha gameplay, but it'll certainly help us work out if we need to upgrade.

    There are tons of Alpha videos on youtube, have a look and judge for urself how well it will run... this might help too...

    I'm having to use BETA nVidia drivers! It won't allow the latest normal one if that reveals anything for you guys?

    It appears I've pointlessly downloaded Origin. I'll get BF3 regardless of whether it's on steam or not. BUT I won't buy games from Origin again, just BF3, EA publish mostly shite anyway.

    Well ive got access to the aplha trial but cannot log into battlelog, say im not allowed which is enoying- waiting on the 24-72 hour email reply from tier 3 ea support.

    Do you get an email saying you've been invited and then log into the alpha site to accept?
    Or do you fish for a invite by trying to log into the alpha site?

    Doesn't look like this will run on an an i5m (dual core) and a 435m oc'd, like bfbc2 does. Might have to build another rig, well that is my excuse anyway.
