I am not affraid to admit, I like myself some Special K... It's rather tasty with fruit and yoghurt. I don't like milk on cereal because it goes soggy you see.

Plus, I know one day, I'll be 40 and look really hot in a red dress.

On a related note. We got hassled again this week about our TV licence. They have it down that we are all individual leases in our flat, which isn't the case and they apparently know we have TV's in all our rooms, which only the case for one of us. I enjoy fighting 'the man' though so I don't mind the entertainment :p

    What morons.

Thankfully, I don't have to put up with morons telling me that I need a license to hook my 360 up to my TV (we just killed basic cable-we all watch what we want online) though I do share your concerns with naff programming. I quit watching in 2000-and I don't want to start again. I will watch anime with friends, movies if I think they're worth it, but TV? I'd rather face the endoscope awake.

Damn the man. You guys keep fighting the good fight.

The Licence fee, compared to a basic Sky package? It's a bargain. I wouldn't watch Gardener's World, the Gardener wouldn't listen to my Essential Mixes, the dance fan might not listen to three months of The Proms. The point being, you might hate a show, but someone else loving it, has also paid their share for what you like.

It's fashionable to moan about the BBC when every TV channel in the world has times when there's nothing on but repeats, there's only so many shows to go round, and when that happens on Sky, you're paying extra for it and there are still ads (except on the Movie channels which, you guessed it, cost extra). So I'm happy to pay it.

Oh and make mine Bitesized Shredded Wheat, and the black woman from the M&S ads :thumb:
