I'm looking around for a 19" lcd monitor to place next to my belinea 102035W. I will use it only for gaming (well maybe to start up the pc too) my list right now it's pretty long (it's almost everything i found from 2 to 4ms): samsung 931CW lg 1900 series viewsonic vx922 lg l196wtq Eizo FlexScan S1911SE (or H) NEC MultiSync 90GX²Pro samsung 960BF Belinea 1975 S1 ( mum my monitor was resized! ) iiyama e1902s lg L1982U o L1960TR o L1953PR (how many do they have???) which one has the best -real- reponse time? for comparative purposes i've used a nec 20wgx2 many times and it's still not optimal
I wouldn't worry too much about response times being really low, anything 16ms and below will be perfectly adequate. You shouldn't see any ghosting on a 16ms screen set at 60Hz, since the picture will change every 16.666ms, anything below that should be fine. I've found my Samsungs, not the same model as yours since they're about 2 years old now, to be very good for the price. I've heard iiyamas are also very good value for money.
i _have_ an 8ms GTG an that's far from no ghosting/blurring. one reason is that declared reponse time are far from the real ones. second they aren't costant third the image change every 16,6667ms but the pixel are still changing color. i said i used the nec 20wgx2 which was almost the best in all reviews and said to be perfect...and it's not. so please don't tell me i don't need a low reponse time...and please don't tell i just need to get a crt, too. (i got one)
