Hi, my headset broke and i want i new one, but i have no idea which ones are good, so can anyone let me know what is a good quality headset? Heres a few stipulations: I only want to spend a max of £40 on it, preferably less I still use my computer speakers so id rather have one that is only on 1 ear
Quick question, if you are planning on using your computer speakers, is there much point in getting an actual headset rather than a seperate desk mic?
Same as above really ^ But if you really want headset then Razer Piranhas are quite cheap and are quite good
Personally I use the Sennheiser PC350's (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=29043&vpn=PC350&manufacture=Sennheiser Electronics) I didn't pay that particular price, they were on sale for about $80 off when I picked them up. But my friend came along as well and bought this set http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=24617&vpn=500926&manufacture=Sennheiser Electronics (also on sale) and he's been very happy with them and they're more in-line with your price range. I've never been a fan of separate mics, they tend to make you sound distant and quiet (or you lean over, or yell too loud) a nice headset with a well adjusted mic is the most convenient setup.
i know what you mean about the desk mic, but i want it to be attached to my head preferably. does anyone use the single eared ones anymore?
desk mics are annoying aren't they? why take up space on your desk when you can stick it on your head? I'm not sure when it comes to single ear headsets but I'd go for logitech, they're almost guaranteed to be good quality.
