Jase and the Wheeled Warriors - American Import

The Rainbow crew all sleeping in the same bed = camp? No camper than Morcombe and Wise. Eric and Ern used to share a bed you know....

And this in the 70's, a less than enlightened time - and nobody raised an :eyebrow: at it!

    <- Batfink :)

I have to second GOO's suggestion of the 60's avengers. Boy howdy Mrs Peel was hot :)

Has nobody brought up Magic Roundabout?! Though, I think that was a French import too.

Hey if we're going back to childhood:

    Supergran!

If only for the Billy Connoly theme music

The Scots did seem to be missing out here, this is Best of British after all.

Now if we can just find somebody who loved "[Take the] High Road" (My cousin was in it briefly) or that Welsh language soap which I won't even attempt to spell...

I only know British Tv from the Public Broadcasting Station
I watched as a kid (and still watch sometimes).
The one thing that still remains burned into my brain
are the shows: "Are you being served" and "Keeping up Appearances"

Don't know if either is "Best" of British though.

both were slightly more annoying than they were funny.

I'll definately second "the young ones" as best of british TV.

    Danger Mouse Rocks!

    Is secret squirel(sp?) British?

Brass Eye is fantastic. I couldn't believe all the fuss about that paedophilia episode. The only thing it mocked was the attitude of the British press and wider public, and that's why it was met with such outrage. There's lots of good satire around, like Have I Got News for You and Rory Bremner. Friday Night Armistice was good but it's not been on for aages.

Rainbow rocked. Zippy is coming to DJ at the student union soon! I can't wait.
