Best Tempature Monitor For A Laptop

    hey guys i was wondering what the best tempature monitor is for a Laptop

    the laptop is a ECS G551

    i know there is MBM but i didnt know if that is the best for a laptop

    so whats the deal???

    First, stupid question, but why? You can't really change the cooling in a laptop too easily, so it doesn't really matter.

    But MBM is probably the only option, if it works at all. You could give speedfan a try. I wouldn't count on either one working though.

    well i know i cant change the cooling...but i wanted to know if HEAT was the problem my video card was running flaky

    so it ISNT a STUPID question thank you very much

    I think you will find he wasn't calling your question stupid but his 'why?' question stupid, or thats the way I read it.

    Anyways, best bet if to give MBM a go really, if not then SiSoftware's Sandra might be able to give you some info (look under 'Mainboard Information' and 'CPU & BIOS Information')...

    speedfan is another good one
    you might not even be able to get a tempurature reading from the GPU

    Speedfan and Everest are probably your best bets.
